Here’s What You Can Do For Planning A Good Photoshoot
Conceptualise
The first step to conduct a photoshoot is to conceptualise. The concept should revolve around practicality and creativity both. Start with a theme or a style that your client wants to focus on. Search for the image ideas on Pinterest. Set up a mod and create a Pinterest page with all the images related to their concept.
The Right Location
Once you’ve the right bunch of photos with you as a reference, you can figure out the location. You need to answer the following questions –
- What’s the best set that could compliment your concept?
- Is it a customised set that you’ve created for your client or are you using an already existing one?
- What type of light source would be the best for a photoshoot? Will you use artificial light or natural lightning?
The Right Time
It takes a lot of experience and a little bit of magic to capture beautiful photographs of you and your newborn baby. The perfect way to capture the precious details of your new bundle of joy. Your baby will change oh so quickly, so I advise that a newborn photography session takes place between 5-14 days old, however I will provide sessions for babies up to 6 weeks old.
Your newborn session will be entirely baby-led; this means I never rush my tiny clients and sessions can last anything between 2-4 hours.
Your bespoke newborn session will take place in my warm and welcoming custom-built studio. I have an extensive range of outfits, props, accessories and backdrops available. Together we can decide what selection is right for you, based on your taste and style. Family and/or sibling shots can also be included with the package you choose.
